CONCEPTS:

Misión:

  • We believe that a change in consumer habits is necessary.
  • That we need more sustainable forms of consumption.
  • Irreversible impact.
  • But we believe that in order to have a greater impact it is necessary to seek solutions that are sustainable and respectful with the environment but that:
    • Offer solutions to users that do not imply major changes in their consumption habits.
    • We offer solutions that do not imply a greater economic effort to users. That is just as competitive or more open in price.

Origin of Neletab:

  • It was born from a group of people who care about the future and with a very close relationship with the sea.
  • So the name is:
    • Nele
    • Tab
  • Hawaii represents a culture: → More specifically the ocean played an important role to Native Hawaiians as it was used for resources and physical and spiritual sustenance in their everyday lives.

SUSTAINABILITY

By 2050, there'll be more plastic in the ocean than fish.

At least 8 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year, and make up 80% of all marine debris from surface waters to deep-sea sediments.

Plastic was meant to last forever, but most is only used once.

Studies estimate there are now 15–51 trillion pieces of plastic in the world's ocean

We're eating + drinking plastic.

Plastic has been found in 100% of marine turtles, 59% of whales, 36% of seals and 40% of seabird species examined.

It's estimated that 60 percent of all seabird species have eaten pieces of plastic, with that number predicted to increase to 99 percent by 2050. Plastic is killing more than 100,000 sea turtles and birds a year from ingestion and entanglement.

Mention that it is not only the plastic of the boats but also what is logistically involved in transport:

Diesel pollution

Tire pollution

Bottled water is estimated to be responsible for 0.21% of CO2 emitted annually

This is the same as 29 million cars or 480.000KM driven by car!

HIGHLIGHT NELETAB MAIN ADVANTAGES:

Space means less logistics cost

Equal efficiency

Less Plastium
